Tjop-Tjop Spit N’ Braai is a Cape Town–based catering company, established in 2018 by founder Lee-Roy Lakey. What began as a genuine passion for food and braaing over an open fire took shape after cooking at his uncle’s birthday celebration, an experience that sparked the idea of turning that passion into a business.

From that moment, what started small quickly grew into a trusted and reputable spitbraai company, now serving clients across Cape Town and surrounding areas. The business is proudly run by husband-and-wife team Lee-Roy and Mischké Lakey, supported by a dedicated team who share the same commitment to quality, consistency, and hands-on service.
